Here
I am at the Livrustkammaren (Royal Armoury), holding a c. 1500 AD German two-handed sword
with a difference (LRK 12716). It is 1340 mm (52.75") long. The 955 mm (37.6")
long and 34 mm (1.33") wide blade has a single edge and is curved, and the whole
thing feels like an European version of a Japanese no-dachi. The sword weighs 1390 grams
(3 lbs.) and is very manoeuvrable.
